History of NEIPA:
The NEIPA began in the late 1920's as a poker club for retail pharmacy business owners. Over the next 60 years, it evolved into the Fort Wayne / Allen County Pharmacists Association. In 1986 the local hospital educational group was included to improve the quality of continuing education. The organization was renamed the Northeast Indiana Pharmacists Association and is open to all pharmacists and technicians in Northeastern Indiana.

Membership Information:
The NEIPA membership includes pharmacists and associate members. The practice settings represented include: community, hospital, home infusion, long term care, pharmacy benefit management, and pharmaceutical industry. « less
