NETCONF is a protocol designed to install, manipulate, and delete the configuration of network devices. NETCONF is protocol operations are realized on top of a Remote Procedure Call (RPC) layer.

YANG is a data modeling language used to model configuration and state data manipulated by the Network Configuration Protocol (NETCONF) protocol, NETCONF remote procedure calls, and NETCONF notifications.

This group provides a forum for all interested parties (e.g. protocol developers, EMS/NMS engineers and operations people) to share experiences with current implementations and discuss all things NETCONF and YANG. « less
