“Low Vision” generally refers to loss of functional vision. Other terms used interchangeably with low vision are “visually impaired”, “partially blind”, ”legally blind” and so forth. Low Vision Network seeks to connect individuals with low vision, professionals, non-professionals, researchers, eye care specialists, owners, organizations that cater to needs of low vision individuals by providing assistive technology, low vision aids and rehabilitation services.
