Looking for your suggestions to improve SupplyChainToday.com. Feel free to leave a message here for the owner of the site. No suggestion is too big or too small.
We are currently investigating various ways to completely revamp and rebrand SupplyChainToday.com. The site continues to grow at a very fast rate but instead of waiting for others to catch up to us we want to make another big jump in capabilities and improvements. For instance, one possibilitiy is to create individual sections for Supply Chain consultants. Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated. If you want to partner with us feel free to leave a message here as well. We will be checking it often.
Thanks

Muhammad
Muhammad S. • This site should be more user friendly to Supply Chain Managers and students of supply chain management and logistics management.
Davy
Davy W. • How would you make it more friendly Muhammad? Trying to figure out some of the details to make it better.
Another thing we need to do is to put a email subscription list on the site for those who want it.
Thanks,

You could even set permissions to allow specific "trusted experts" access to add site content in a specific area. Excellent platform by todays standards.

Davy W. • James,
That is great advice. Just checked out joomla and it definitely has many capabilities I am looking for. Going to dig into it more later today. I like your "trusted experts" comment. Thanks again for the suggestion.

With the major improvements coming to SupplyChainToday.com would like to get as many ideas and suggestions from the community as possible.

My 2 cents.

Davy W. • Gary,
Wanted to say thank you very much for your comments. Been checking into "Web 2.0" capabilities for awhile now. Stepped up my research over this weekend. Hope to have something to show you soon. Thanks again.

Coloring - too standard as compared to the logo. I would suggest modifying each section to allow them to stand out more.

Carlos C. • How about providing tools people can use such as Kanban calculators, Plan For Every Part (PFEP) Template, Value Stream Mapping, etc.

Robert F. C. • I apologize if I am missing something right in front of my face but I can’t
find the link in the upper right corner to search. Can you send me a
picture shot or tell me how it is labeled? Just went back on and can’t
find it.

Davy W. • Carlos,
Going to look into your suggestions. I might not be able to get to them right away but definitely like where you are going with it.
Robert,
HIghly appreciate your input. The search function is coming. Been working on it tonight among other things. I am trying to find someone to help me with the color scheme. Trying to see what I can change up. We are more than open to rebranding the site however possible.

Still have quite a bit of work on it. The improvements to the site will be rolled out in July so stay tuned. If you would like to participate in the site as it is being built please provide your name.
