The London HR Connection (LHRC) is a CIPD Special Interest Group and a forum for HR professionals that has been established for many years. We hold monthly lunchtime and evening events with high profile guest speakers from the world of business, academia, Government, trade unions and the private and public sectors addressing the hottest topics in HR.

We have a great line up of guest speakers and events this season including three live debates at the LSE’s school of management; President of the CIPD, Gill Rider; chair of the Equality and Human Rights Commission, Trevor Philips; and even renowned public figure and ex-HR professional, Lembit Opik.

The ability to network effectively is arguably even more key to our personal and professional development and we believe that the LHRC provides an excellent forum for you to meet fellow HR professionals from a wide range of sectors to share ideas and experiences with as well as the opportunity to take part in some stimulating debates.

We are delighted that this year we will be continuing our close collaboration with the London School of Economics. In addition to hosting various events over the year, internationally recognised and eminent LSE academics and business experts will be helping to lead some of the discussion at our events.

Please note that whilst membership of our LinkedIn Group is, obviously, free, membership of the LHRC 'proper' does entail the payment of a modest membership charge. We are a 'not for profit' organisation so this covers admin and catering costs but enables you to attend all of our events during the year and enjoy significant, 'real world' networking opportunities.
