Local2020 is about engaging a wider audience in the debate about the role of ICT at a local level that was started at the “DAE Goes Local” event in Brussels on 4/5th April and will continue through to the Digital Agenda Assembly on June 16th/17th again in Brussels. The objective is to get as wide as possible input and commitment to the debate and as result suggestions and propositions that will both provide the input to the local workshop at the DAA and engender real action by the EC and others.

The challenge is to get proposals for change and input that are rooted in the real business of localities across Europe and to engage with individuals who have both the insight for change and those who have the ability to make things happen. « less
