The purpose of Leaders Storytelling Network is to share tips, techniques and strategies between members on how to become a more effective business storyteller. And importantly, to share stories, that in-turn members can share to inspire others to take action.

The group is for those who understand that facts & data alone do not inspire action and want to explore ways to use storytelling to make change happen faster, get their messages to stick - through to becoming a more authentic leader and getting employee buy-in for key strategies.

By mean of background, Roger E Jones the founder of the network is the UK's foremost leadership storytelling coach and seminar leader. He runs open workshops in London, and consults, speaks at conferences and delivers in-company seminars in the UK and internationally.

Examples of leadership storytelling skills in action include CEOs such as Lou Gerstner of IBM - who used powerful future stories to drive cultural change, and Ted Turner who used a historical story to inspire fundraising efforts.

The same storytelling skills used by FedEx to help instill employee behaviours, 3M to encourage innovation, and technology firms such as Oracle to help sell complex products & services. « less
