The Lead and Environmental Hazards Association (LEHA) is a national, non-profit association committed to advancing our nation's efforts to eliminate lead paint poisoning, and dedicated to conducting educational, research and business activities in support of the lead-based paint hazard assessment and abatement field.

It is the purpose of the organization to:


Provide forums for the exchange of state-of-the-art information on lead-based paint detection, hazard control and abatement methods through meetings and publications;
Initiate activities for the training, accreditation and recognition of lead-based paint industry practitioners;
Promote legislative and regulatory efforts that enhance the professional nature of lead-based paint detection, abatement and worker health and safety practices;
Develop a multi-year, long-range plan to permit a rational, comprehensive approach to solving the complex lead-based paint problem. « less
