Short notice, but with good reason…
If you live in the surrounding Minneapolis-St. Paul region, happen to be in the area, or feel like making a road-trip for an exciting game, come join the University of Mary THIS WEEKEND!
Our 14th-ranked University of Mary makes its first trip to the semifinal round of the Northern Sun/Sanford Health Men’s Basketball Tournament. Currently riding a 16-game winning streak, the second-seeded Marauders will face sixth-seeded St. Cloud State University on Saturday, March 5. Tipoff is set for 7:30 PM at the Gangelhoff Center on the campus of Concordia University in St. Paul, MN.
The NSIC tournament champion receives an automatic berth in the 2011 NCAA Central Region tournament on March 12-13, 15 at a site yet to be determined. U-Mary is currently ranked third in the NSIC Central Region poll.
Prior to the game, the University of Mary Marauder Athletic Department invite our Alumni, Boosters, family, and fans to a social from 4 PM-7 PM at the Green Mill Restaurant (57 Hamline Ave S, St Paul), located just a few blocks down the road from the basketball arena. Drink tickets will be provided (while supplies last).

NSIC/SANFORD HEALTH TOURNAMENT INFO

All Marauders tournament games will be broadcast live by Jack Michaels, the Voice of the Marauders, on ESPN 710 AM and streamed online at www.espn710am.com.
The NSIC semifinals and championship game will be aired on Midco Sports Net. Go to www.midcosportsnet.com to find a channel in your area.
Tickets are available at the door. The cost is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, $2 for students and children five and under get in free.
CENTRAL REGION TOURNAMENT ANNOUNCEMENT
The NCAA will release the regional tournament bracket on Sunday, March 6. The NCAA Regional Selection Show will air at 9 PM on www.NCAA.com.
The Central Region tournament will be held March 12-13 and 15. The winner of the Central Region will advance to the Elite Eight to be held March 23-24, and 26, 2011 at MassMutual Center in Springfield, MA.
