In 1992, Sandia National Laboratories started the Meshing Roundtable as a small meeting of like-minded companies and organizations striving to establish a common focus for research and development in the field of mesh and grid generation. Sandia National Laboratories continues to organize the International Meshing Roundtable, which has become recognized as an international focal point annually attended by researchers and developers from dozens of countries around the world.

Anyone interested in mesh generation and related core topics of IMR can join this group. The core topics include but are not limited to CAD and computational geometry, surface and volume mesh generation, analysis and/or demonstrations, software design issues, and implications of application for meshing.

This group is created mainly to facilitate communication among all the interested parties of IMR including but are not limited to planning committee, authors of papers, research notes, and posters, students, instructors, speakers, volunteers, and sponsors. « less
