How parameters are passed from url without using get/post, like in url's www.facebook.com/vishal, www.facebook.com/xyz, www.facebook.com/abc...... vishal, xyz, abc act as parameters i suppose.

You can have a receiving script, e.g. redirect.php that acquires the GET parameters and redirects to specific URL (e.g. yoursite.com/received_param)

You can use a php framework like codeigniter , ... or you must use a .htacces file to url rewriting.

Vishal, it's url rewriting. It's done on webserver side. So answer differs depending on what webserver you use: apache or nginx.
