    What folder are you trying to hide and what are you trying to accomplice?

    "locking or hiding a folder " is kind of vague. I can think of 3 or 4 interpretations for it:
    1. create a folder in the SD card that is actually hidden: create the folder with a "." in front of it. for example .myFolder

    2. create a folder containing images and you don't want it to be visible from the gallery application: add a .nomedia file inside the images folder

    3. An ExpandableListView

    4. As KaSiris said a Sliding Drawer.

    Could you please elaborate? :D

    But when i used your example the folder is hidden but when i
    explore in computer the folder is visible to user.

    The .folder will only work in unix like OSs (linux, osx, android).
    The .nomedia file is android specific.

    What are you trying to do?

    I am trying to store image on that folder. but when user explore its Tablet
    on system the folder should not visible to user .
