Guiri Business Group is designed to facilitate professional networking through the exchange of information, knowledge, contacts, jobs and opportunities.

The group mainly consists of Spanish-based, foreign professionals - many of them self-employed - that become member for business networking purposes.

Meaning, the main object is to generate work: business: jobs: !dinero! from it. That is why we always mention the key elements

The official language is English, but we welcome speakers of all languages; especially Spanish locals, as long as they are Guiri friendly ;)

The group is supported by monthly off-line networking events and business lunches in more and more cities around Spain. Check the discussions for calendar updates for events in your area.

The Circle of Networking:
The monthly networking events should be an opportunity for members to connect and share a personality behind their LinkedIn Profiles, but the majority of the development of business will continue on-line and in the LinkedIn Group.
We feel that in past networking events that members disconnect between monthly sessions and lose momentum. The LinkedIn group is the glue that allows people to keep their leads and information syncing until they develop into customers. The monthly sessions, on-the-other-hand, allow members to look into other members eyes and discover which leads they feel comfortable pursuing as customers without the pressure of scheduled meetings.
