Transparency International has issued its annual ranking on corruption in the public sector around the world (Germany, paymaster of the euro zone, will not be pleased that indebted Greece is the most corrupt nation in the zone) http://econ.st/120ufXw

I am surprised to hear about the bribery situation. We are consulting engineers in UK and have been in business for 30 yrs with perhaps 350 clients. No one has ever suggested a bribe

Archie, Closest I've been to Third world is Pakistan and Mexico. In Pakistan I was an Expert in resolving a claim of corrosion which was a $3M dollar claim. No one there even intimated a bribe. May be I have an honest face or perhaps Brits are not seen as easy to bribe. Interested to hear of your inventions. derek@mtechltd.co.uk
