    Interesting article Jim, however I found it raised many questions.

    The ROI detail isn't disclosed until nearly the end. Direct Mail shows poor performance, hence the title seems biased. Perhaps "Multi-Channel Marketing Drives Response Rates and ROI".

    The article mentions a 25% drop in response rates over 9 years, but is that recently? Did they change the data analytics? Is this a result of the recession?

    What targeting and segmentation strategies were employed on the DM and digital channels?

    "...Wormser muses" - well good for him. When I'm presenting strategies and ROI results to executives, I prefer not to "muse".

    Overall, good information, but I still prefer a comprehensive, multi-media approach.
