The CreArt project is coordinated by the Municipal Foundation for Culture of the Valladolid City Council and it will be submitted to the next call of the Culture Programme of the European Commission.
The CreArt project aims to foster creativity, a character trait of Europe’s identity throughout its history. Artistic creativity is a precursor of general creativity and, with the objective to promote it, this project establishes a permanent and professional system of mobility, exchange and joint work experiences, in visual arts, among artists, groups and associations, cultural operators, educational institutions and the general public
The CreArt project has the following specific objectives:
1.Enhance creativity through exchange of experiences and joint work among visual artists from different countries and cultural traditions
2.Develop common training methodologies for groups (children, youth and adults) to include creativity as a skill for personal development
3.Establish a permanent system of mobility for the training of visual artists
4.Identify a methodology of professional management that generates sustainable cultural entities in medium-sized urban environments
5.Support artistic creation networking among medium-sized European cities
6.Develop technological tools for creative exchange and cultural resource management
