Since CONFR’s founding in 1982, more than five thousand individuals have attended our fundraising education and capacity building conferences and workshops. A membership organization, CONFR receives annual membership fees, conference and workshop registration fees, and additional funds through sponsorships and grants from businesses and foundations and gifts from individuals.

Our membership is comprised of leaders from New Hampshire nonprofit organizations, consultants, and for-profit partners, who receive discounts on conference and workshop fees as well as other member benefits. Our conferences and workshops are open to everyone, however, and we constantly seek opportunities for fundraisers throughout the state to access our programs, especially in rural, underserved areas.

CONFR presents two day-long conferences annually, each providing speakers of national renown who present the latest trends in nonprofit fundraising. Because most NH nonprofit organizations do not have budgets to support professional development through attendance at regional or national conferences, CONFR is committed to bringing those resources to New Hampshire. CONFR board members and staff search for hot topics in fund development and the most knowledgeable professionals to present them at our conferences.

CONFR’s series of regionally-presented workshops provides a continuum of learning for a broad spectrum of development professionals and volunteer fundraisers, from beginner and intermediate to advanced.

Our Coffee with CONFR series is held in regions throughout the state and provides bi-monthly networking and peer-to-peer learning opportunities on topics of mutual interest with colleagues in local areas.

CONFR envisions a future when the work of dedicated and highly trained development professionals and volunteer fundraisers inspires a level of philanthropy that transforms New Hampshire’s nonprofit organizations and builds stronger communities throughout the state. « less
