Established in 1995, Community Business Bureau (CBB) is a self-funded, not-for-profit social enterprise that specialises in the community sector.

CBB is committed to:
• advancing the interests, well-being and welfare of people who are disadvantaged by reason of disability, age, culture or personal circumstances.
• assisting charitable organisations working in the areas of disability, health, welfare, aged care, indigenous services and other community services to manage their organisations and activities effectively by providing a range of services to those in need.

Our surplus profits are used to support organisations and the sector.

Our Mission - To provide services and programs which build the capability and capacity of not-for-profit organisations

Our Vision - An effective and efficient not-for-profit sector achieving its social objectives.

The Community Business Bureau was formed on the 1st July 1995, as a wholly independent incorporated organisation.

The formation of CBB evolved from the restructuring of the Spastic Centres of South Australia Inc. As a result, separate agencies emerged and CBB was established to service the administration requirements within the community service sector, in particular to meet their payroll and financial needs.

During this period CBB established itself as a non-profit business enterprise, operating on a fee-for-service basis providing Financial, Payroll, Human Resources and Training services to the community sector.

Over the years CBB expanded their range of services and to coincide with the introduction of tax changes for public benevolent institutions in 2001, CBB established a Salary Packaging product to offer to the marketplace.

Today, CBB is a unique organisation with a clear vision and mission to strengthen not-for-profit organisations.

We are committed to continuing to developing our products and services to better serve the community and relevant government sectors. « less
