Careers Debate is about questioning, debating and airing views about any aspect of Career Development.

Find ways to disagree that are without exception respectful

Care about the feelings of other contributors including the readers who may not be active participants

Welcome disagreement with their views as a way of learning and exploring issues and beliefs

Post appropriate links (where they support and promote a point of view or a process (even though there is a reference to a product or service) are acceptable and even encouraged. Blatant promotion to sell a product or service, is unacceptable. Most people have passion about their work, and for those who have products or services, it is assumed that they also have passion for their products or services. But most wise professionals with products or services appreciate the fine line of "self" promotion vs "concept" promotion (albeit their concept discussion might reference, on occasion and where appropriate, their product or service). « less
