CIPE's Global Editorial Cartoon Competition is on!
A picture is worth a thousand words. Especially when it comes to capturing complex ideas such as democracy, corruption, and gender equality, a simple cartoon often can say more than a lengthy article. Are you interested in those issues? Whether you are a professional cartoonist, draw as a hobby, or just want to try a new challenge, we want to hear from you. And you could win $1,000 in the process! See the details of CIPE’s 2011 Global Editorial Cartoon Competition here: http://www.cipe.org/cartoon/
The competition is open to participants of all ages from around the world. We’re looking for original and creative cartoons that express a universal message. The Competition judges include Tom Gibson, a founding cartoonist of USA Today and Pat Oliphant, Pulitzer Prize Winning and world’s most widely syndicated cartoonist.
The rules are simple: Draw attention. Submit your cartoon. And hurry up – the deadline is April 17!
