Apache News Lab launches news cooperative

If journalism is the art of serving the public interest, than why not make the readers credit holder of the media and bring back journalism to the hands it belongs to? Apache News Lab, a Belgian website with a focus on investigative journalism, launched a call to buy shares in it's just started news cooperative.

Journalism - and especially investigative journalism - is not only about freedom of expression. These days it is more about the guaranty that expression should be free.
