Founded in 1869 by Univ of Michigan Law students to “promote a higher standard of professional ethics and culture in this and other law schools and in the profession at large”. Phi Delta Phi is the 2nd oldest legal organization in continuous existence in the US and the 3rd oldest in N. America.
