For more than 24 years, Westminster House has offered a safe, accepting, homelike setting to adult women recovering from addiction. Through its personalized “holistic” recovery model paired with principles from the 12-step approach, Westminster House is one of the few residential recovery centres available to women in British Columbia. It is a charitable, non-profit organization with highly qualified staff committed to empowering individuals to take responsibility for their ongoing recovery process.
Addiction affects the entire family unit. Family and friends are an integral part of the recovery and reintegration process. Westminster House strongly encourages family members to participate in educational meetings, self help programs and other therapeutic activities to enhance healing and to promote lasting recovery.
