We are a countywide organisation in Kent, delivering a range of services to individuals, voluntary and community organisations, private and public sector agencies. We provide opportunities for individuals and businesses to volunteer, helping to make a difference in the local community.
We help support vulnerable people in the community young and old, such as young carers who look after their parents or guardians with disabilities and children from disadvantaged backgrounds. We run clubs, residential weekends, summer activities and befriending to give vital support and respite that these young people so much deserve.
We run a volunteer driver transport scheme for older people who need help with getting to hospital or to go shopping. We also run clubs for older people to meet each other and help share skills that they might not have previously had to use after loved ones have passed on.
We run a project recycling computers working with businesses and organisations such as the NHS restoring computers to factory conditions and sending them to charities such as Computer Aid International who in turn send them to developing countries.
We provide bespoke training and consultancy aimed at voluntary and community organisations; however they are also open to statutory organisations and others.
