The Virginia Gildersleeve International Fund (VGIF) provides small grants for grassroots projects that empower women and girls in developing countries. VGIF funds projects based on local needs. We're proud to have been on the ground floor in funding organizations that have carried out excellent projects - projects that have then been the catalyst for further growth and success for their beneficiaries.
Project grants support women and girls in developing countries with:
• Community development
• Health and nutritional support
• Literacy and leadership training
• Educational seminars and workshops
• Human rights education
