UPA - Sao Paulo Chapter

Usability Professionals' Association - São Paulo is a nonprofit corporation incorporated in the State of São Paulo, Brazil, aimed to provide a network and opportunities through which usability professionals can communicate and share information about skills, methodology, tools, technology, and organizational issues.

The purposes of the UPA São Paulo include:
1) to provide a network for usability professionals;
2) to present the viewpoints of the profession to the public and other interested parties;
3) to educate the general public and others on the usefulness of the profession;
4) to represent the profession before governmental bodies and agencies;
5) to provide the methods and means to increase the members’ knowledge of the profession through seminars, newsletters, magazines, and other communication tools, and through meetings and conventions;
6) to serve the best interests of the usability profession.
