Founded in 1838, the Academy of Neuchâtel was later renamed University in 1909. Nowadays it is composed of five faculties – the Humanities, Science, Law, Economics and Theology – within which more than 40 disciplines are taught.
A human-scaled institution, the University of Neuchatel offers an exceptional ratio of supervision and welcomes more than 4000 students from Switzerland and abroad (25% of the total) each year. UniNE offers Euro-compatible Bachelors and Masters Degrees for each of its educational programmes in innovative fields at the leading edge, in line with society’s current needs.
