In our company NetGong is used on a minute-to-minute basis. NetGong is used to monitor the availability of our networked printers, server, router and DSL-gateway. In the future when managed switches are inplemented they will be added as well. Besides the network objects both the availability of Internet access (ref. www.google.nl) and our website (www.haarmanb-ict.nl) is monitored. Using the alerting system we can take nessecary steps if something ‘triggers’. So is NetGong usefull: YES. Without this tool we would have to manually check availibility of our network objects or find out that something is wrong when access is not possible.- November 30, 2011

NetGong is a very simple to use, but yet very powerful application for monitoring of hundreds of IP devices simultaneously using TCP, UDP or ICMP. It is a handy utility with alerts, logging, remote connectivity, and other useful features. There is a trial version, which you can download and test by yourself.
