Julia Kilgore, the owner of The Yellow Rose Bridal, is a mother of four. With two daughters, she has shopped for several special occasions such as dances, weddings, and banquets. Prior to opening The Yellow Rose Bridal in 2008, she always encouraged her daughters to choose dresses that were modest and age appropriate. However, the selection was very limited. Not only were there few options, but the dresses were often dated, out of style, and unattractive. Julia began planning to open a bridal shop that provided beautiful, stylish, and modern prom and wedding dresses with sleeves, higher necklines, and appropriate hemlines.
