We welcomes around 2.5m visitors each year, to around 200 trade and consumer events, from Range Rover lanuching the Evoque, Severn Trent bringing their manager community together for health & safety training in a mock court room environment to Sainsbury's bringing staff together to motivate, engage and boost productivity through to shows like BBC Gardeners’ World, BBC Good Food Show and Spring Fair; MACH and the Clothes Show.
We couldn’t be better placed, with direct access to the UK motorway network and a physical connection to Birmingham Airport and railway station. Sitting within a two hour drive time of almost 40 per cent of the UK’s population, and with approximately 80 per cent choosing to travel by car, the site, with 20,000 car parking spaces, is well equipped to accommodate those visitors.
In addition to fantastic events, visitors can also enjoy food and drink whilst on site, supplied by the NEC’s caterers, Amadeus. These range from 200-seater cafe bars, to quick snack outlets, to well-known outlets including Starbucks, Subway, JD Wetherspoon, and new addition Jimmy Spices.
The NEC occupies a 611-acre site offers unrivalled flexibility across more than 186,000 square metres of covered exhibition space through 20 interconnecting halls, around 167 acres of hard standing and 75 acres of woodland.
