Since 1992, the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) has worked to advance the standards of the massage and bodywork profession. NCBTMB’s programmatic work includes an Approved Provider program for continuing education; Ethics & Discipline to hold certificants to high standards; Exam Development with both licensing and credentialing assessments; School Compliance to help ensure the quality of massage programs; and School Outreach to establish relationships and provide support.
