• I joined The Home Depot’s Internal Audit Leadership Program in 2002 after spending a couple of years as a management consultant. What attracted me to the company was the opportunity to perform internal consulting across all areas of the business while building solid experience in the retail industry. What also made a significant impression on me was the strength of the company’s financials which was only matched by its culture. I’ve had the great fortune of holding several positions while at The Home Depot including Internal Auditor, Internal Audit Manager, Finance Manager and my current role as an Implementation and Planning Merchant. In between my various roles at The Home Depot, I left for a period to pursue entrepreneurial endeavors. When I sold my company and decided to come back, I was welcomed with open arms.  I’m very grateful for the many opportunities I’ve been given while at The Home Depot and look forward to helping the company grow.

• As an 8 year associate at The Home Depot, I can truly say that the possibilities are endless. I embarked upon my career at The Home Depot in a non-management capacity and sought out development, mentoring, and skill building opportunities in an effort to progress my career.  From my experience, The Home Depot embraced the opportunity to provide its associates with career guidance, and the necessary tools and resources for development.   My current role as Manager, Multicultural Marketing affords me the opportunity to enhance and grow our company’s marketing and advertising efforts amongst two particularly important consumer segments: Hispanics and African Americans. • Being at The Home Depot for the past 5 years, I can honestly say that every day here offers a new and exciting challenge.  In my role as Senior Manager, Corporate Talent Acquisition, I have had the opportunity to be a part of some truly amazing talent acquisition initiatives:  19 new Rapid Deployment Centers, four different call centers with different focus areas over the past 3 years and the launch of a field based merchandising team which required over 200 hires in 90 days.  The entrepreneurial spirit here is surpassed by none and I am surrounded by innovative and intellectual people that bring 110% every day.   It is the people here that energize me and I look forward to growing my career at The Home Depot.

• I joined the Home Depot family in 2005 and I currently serve as a Senior Manager of Payroll Operations. The atmosphere at work is conducive to retaining associates who are not only highly effective, but also content with their working environment; thus yielding a high work ethic. Leaders within the organization are accessible and remain attune to the needs of the associates at all levels in order to promote a familiar environment. One of the highlights of my tenure here was facilitating a panel discussion during a National MBA Conference.
