At Tenovus our aims are simple: to help prevent, treat and find a cure for cancer.
In doing that we offer support, advice and treatment for cancer patients, information on cancer prevention and funding for research to improve the outcomes for people with cancer.
We do this where it is needed most - right at the heart of the community.
Tenovus cancer support services include a Freephone Cancer Support Line 0808 808 1010, a Mobile Cancer Support Unit which delivers treatment and care closer to people’s homes, specialist Cancer Support Advisors, Counsellors and support groups such as Tenovus Sing for Life choir and Grow with Us allotment project group that focus on overcoming the psychosocial affects of cancer.
Tenovus continues to fund innovative research and have developed Innovation Grants to fund projects into psychosocial research to overcome the effects of cancer as well as funding PhDstudents. Tenovus has given £1 million to fund quality research and development into cancer.
