TechStructures, LLC, was founded in 2002 as an application development and consulting company providing custom software development services based on Microsoft’s web and database development tools. Initially, projects ranged from Carrier Class Data Center applications for leading telecommunications companies and service providers to web-based time and commissioning applications for mortgage brokers.
In 2003, local businesses began soliciting TechStructures to consult on the management of their local and wide area networks. After exhaustive research of market needs, TechStructures discovered that most network support firms worked on a reactive and not proactive maintenance approach. Based on best practices developed from serving large Fortune 500 companies, TechStructures principals refined the firm's focus to offer comprehensive, holistic consulting and services.
As more companies relied on TechStructures for remote maintenance and network monitoring, Techstructures developed the first version of its monitoring software, TechSentry®. TechSentry allows TechStructures’ network engineers the ability to monitor in near real time what is going on with a customer’s network to avoid costly downtime.
Through further experience gained supporting customer networks, TechStructures learned that most small- and medium-sized business can benefit from the technologies and infrastructure utilized by TechStructures' larger customers. Response to this need has blossomed into offerings ranging from single business applications such as electronic fax (goFaxPro) to hosted Microsoft Exchange Server (goOutlook) to entire networks, through TechStructures' goHostPro application.
