Opera Zuid is an opera company which was established in 1990. We produces 3 or 4 opera's each year with performances in all the big theaters in Holland. It's Opera Zuid's mission to make Opera for everybody, up to date and accessible for all people. The first performance of Le Nozze di Figaro was on 23 February 1990. Repertoire conceals Opera's as Madama Butterfly, Carmen, La Traviata and Don Giovanni but also recent or unknown opera's as Julietta, L’amour des trois oranges, The Gambler, Tsaar Saltan or l’Etoile. Opera Zuid productions are on a high artistic level for a large public.
