SouthEast Telephone was established in 1996 with the express purpose of becoming the hometown telephone company for all east Kentuckians. Our goal was to offer a complete telecom solution to customers who previously had only national corporate entities serving the local consumer market. Local community involvement and an intense belief in the importance of personal service are keys to the mission statement of SouthEast and our commitment to be the best corporate partner it can be. In 2010, SouthEast became a part of Lightyear Network Solutions, headquarted in Louisville, KY.
SouthEast customers include businesses of all types and sizes across the Commonwealth of Kentucky, including health-care services, banks, engineering firms, law offfices, energy companies, schools, city and state governments, supermarkets, restaurants and many others.
SouthEast also offers a variey of competitively priced residential calling plans to fit our customers' needs. Our basic plan features local phone service and allows customers to choose the additional features they need, including any of the most popular features such as voicemail, call waiting, caller ID, call forwarding and three-way calling. Our other plans feature statewide and nationwide calling, DSL (where available) and more.
SouthEast is able to offer its cutting-edge network services through our parent company, Lightyear Network Solutions, in metropolitan areas or customer locations outside of Kentucky.
