Sol Systems is a Washington D.C. based solar energy finance and development firm committed to bringing solar energy to the homes and businesses of the United States. Sol Systems was founded with the intention of fostering the development of solar energy as an economically viable energy solution. Our goal is to improve those economics by enabling owners to realize the value of their solar energy system through the associated solar renewable energy credits (“SRECs”)
Sol Systems partners with installation firms, homeowners and businesses with solar energy systems to purchase the SRECs produced from those systems. We work to design long-term contracts that meet the individual needs of our customers and hedge against market uncertainty. Sol System aggregates and sells these SRECs to various large-scale electrical energy suppliers within the industry.
