Sitec achieved their accreditation following assessment and audit of their procedures, standards and quality plans relating to their installation of vertical axis wind turbines. The approval also involved an on-site inspection of a recent turbine site installed and commissioned by Sitec.
The scheme owned by the Government is the benchmark for quality and standards in the Microgeneration sector and ensures that Sitec customers have access to apply for Grant Application Monies available under the Low Carbon Building Programme and also importantly the new FITS (Feed in Tariffs) which come into effect
April 2010.
