In 1976, Henri Belolo, already known as the founder of the VILLAGE PEOPLE and THE RITCHIE FAMILY, sets up his own record company Scorpio Music. Thirty years later, Scorpio Music is one of the leading independent record companies in France with tracks like 2 Unlimited, Haddaway, Gala, 20 Fingers, Blue, Lorna, Ilona Mitrecey, Najoua Belyzel, DHT, Sharam, Alex Gaudino, Enur feat. Natasja, DJ Assad, Michael Mind Project, Greg Parys… and many others.
