Science View

Science View was founded in 2008 and since then has tried to organize the Association in order to provide services that could help to bridge the gaps between the scientific community and the general public in Greece.

Science View visions to make scientific knowledge useful and clearly understood by the general public.

Since its establishment, Science View has become a member of the European Union of Science Journalists Associations (EUSJA) in order to collaborate with the relevant European Associations.

Science View, since May 2010 had carefully scheduled several activities for the period from May 2010 to May 2012 in several levels (e.g. broadening the network of collaborators, participating in projects and networks, training activities, communication activities).

At this moment, the core team of Science View is working on the preparation of an online magazine (portal) on Research and Technology. Science View is responsible for the content development of this communication tool.

Science View is participating in the European funded project, “Discover the COSMOS”, under the FP7-INFRASTRUCTURES programme. Science View will lead the design and implementation a systematic raising awareness strategy that will contribute to the effective communication of the project's results and outcomes.

Furthermore, Science View is organizing The MuSci Cafes (http://en.scienceview.gr/news/24), events that try to show how Science and Music can interact through the centuries.
