Its founder, Samuel Hoang, was formerly the Interaction Design Manager at Teague, where he worked for over 5 years on dozens of next generation consumer electronics products before leaving to start his design practice. Prior to working at Teague, Sam was a Senior Interaction Designer at Fitch and an Interaction Designer at Philips Design.
His love of interaction design started when he was 6 years old, programming video games in BASIC on his older brother's TI-99/4A home computer. His interest in design led him to complete a Bachelors Degree, summa cum laude majoring in Architecture at Georgia Tech and a Master of Architecture degree at MIT. The sleep-deprivation experiments conducted under these two institutions engrained in Sam a deep respect for the craft of design, which he takes seriously in his interaction design work today.
