Reveeco is a Canadian company that has developed and patented an ecological shower system, which allows savings of up to 80 % water and energy, without sacrificing style, hygiene, pressure and heat.
The company’s flagship product, the EcoVéa, is especially relevant for households and hotels located in regions where water is scarce and/or expensive, as it not only cuts back on water consumption but also yields significant financial savings on utility bills. In most regions, the payback period of investment ranges from 1 year (Denmark) to 3 years (United States).
Based on a simple but efficient technology, the EcoVéa system continuously analyzes wastewater through a cell located in the shower base. If the water is dirty (with soap, for example), it is drained away, like any regular shower. If the water is clean, it is retained and immediately reused, but only after being filtered and treated to further purify it.
In a context where water scarcity issues are increasing and raising awareness from consumers, innovative water management solutions will inevitably emerge.
