Rahn, Environmental Scientist/Safety Advisor recently attended the Annual Asbestos Inspector Training and the Lead Sampling Technician Training sponsored by the Milwaukee Lead/Asbestos Information Center held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Topics touched on the role of inspectors, bulk sampling techniques, regulations, friable vs. non-friable asbestos, personal protective equipment, dust sampling, soil sampling, paint chip sampling, clearance procedures for “non-abatement” jobs and clearance levels. Both are Certified Asbestos Inspectors in the states of WI and MI.
