Ranger Aerospace (and affiliates) is a private equity holding company and management group that teams with larger institutional investors to acquire, grow, and improve companies in aviation services, aerospace sub-specialties, airfield operations, logistics, and government outsourcing. Since its founding in early 1997 in Greenville SC, Ranger Aerospace has transacted over $405 Million of buy-and-sell events via classic leveraged buyouts and internal investments in its portfolio companies. In 2012 we sold our Government Services platform to a $1 Billion strategic buyer. Those most recent primary investments are in Airfield Services, BaseLogistics, Technical Staffing, and Tactical Vehicle RESET/Overhaul govt outsourced operations. We have secondary alliances in precision manufacturing, rotorcraft services, and components overhaul. In 2009 we acquired CAV International and US Logistics Inc. In 2011 we teamed on a new venture called Ranger Saudia. We are seeking additional acquisitions in the govt outsourcing arena, as well as platform add-on's for precision manufacturing. Other sectors of interest include aftermarket spares, MRO, engineering services, and any form of airfield services operations.
