Quality Catering for Kids provides nutritious hot lunches, breakfasts, sack lunches and snacks to more than 15,000 children in child care centers, private schools and child development centers in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. We have organic and vegetarian menu options.
A registered Dietetic Technician oversees menus to ensure meals meet nutrition and growth guidelines and nutritional value, while our commissary is USDA-certified to ensure food safety and quality.
After 32 years in business, we've developed and improved upon our own careful and creative food preparation that preserves nutritional value with no trans fats. Children who are served our food consume 90.7 percent of it, which shows they love what they're eating and they get the nutrients it provides.
If the current food provider at your day care center is at or below 70 percent food consumption, that's a failing grade.
We also offer pre-school customers free lesson plans, written by an early childhood educator with a master's degree in nutrition education.
Because of our size and experience, Quality Catering for Kids is able to provide children's hot lunches at a price substantially below that of a brown bag lunch or lunches provided by other private services.
We employ about 70 people. We're located in the northern Illinois community of Lake Villa (near the Illinois-Wisconsin border). Our Wisconsin offices are in the Milwaukee suburb of Brookfield.
