Providigm, formerly Nursing Home Quality, is the company that holds the CMS contract to implement the Quality Indicator Survey nationally.

This core philosophy stems from the passion of our founder and CEO, Dr. Andrew Kramer. He believed the potential of the new Quality Indicator Survey (QIS) process would only be realized if providers were empowered with the same quality metrics and tools as surveyors. In response, he and his brother Peter started Providigm in 2007 to provide a way for nursing homes to understand and achieve success under QIS. The result was the abaqis® Quality Management System that replicates the entire QIS methodology.
