PrintGlobe was founded in October 2000 by company President Dan Steinborn. With a mission to become the leading online source for printing services, PrintGlobe launched the www.printglobe.com portal in February 2002 and has since built a strong customer base in all 50 states. PrintGlobe currently has more than 30,000 customers, including Apple Computers, The Gap, K Mart, The White House, Microsoft, HP, Lockheed Martin, Kraft, NASA, Disney and more. PrintGlobe also serves a host of major universities, national non-profit organizations and government agencies. The PrintGlobe website features the largest selection of printable products for business with more than 11,000 unique and customizable products.

PrintGlobe earned a spot on “The Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies in America” list in 2007, 2008 and 2009. The Austin Business Journal noted PrintGlobe’s rapid expansion by including the company in their 2006 and 2007 “Fast 50” list for the fastest growing companies in Austin, Texas. PrintGlobe was also voted by its associates and named by the Austin Business Journal as a “50 Best Places to Work” company in 2006 and 2007.

In December 2008 the company acquired the assets of corporate gift e-tailer, Absorbent, Ink.
