POM manufactures electronic parking meters (single up to 4 spaces) that can accept coins, tokens, closed or open system smart cards, and credit cards. POM's Parktel-tm credit card module fits existing meter housings (POM or others), retaining the original, durable dome cap. It features wireless communications, remote web data management site, and is upgradeable to add cell phone parking THAT ACTUATES THE METER'S ENFORCEMENT DISPLAY. Other POM-proprietary features like the rotary high-visibility enforcement signal option, toothless jam-resistant coin chute, field replaceable displays, SmartLock, and Gripper wedge or Bar-Pin mounting, all add up to increased bottom-line revenue like no other paid parking method, without sacrificing public relations.
