Based in Kampala, Uganda, we offer a wide variety of tour and safari activities in Uganda and the wider East African region and worldwide airline ticketing and route planning.
Pearl of Africa Tours is fully registered and licensed in Uganda and is a member of the Association of Uganda Tour Operators (AUTO), The Uganda Association of Travel Agents (TUGATA) and Africa Travel Association (ATA). Our Executive Director Kelley MacTavish-Mungar is a founding member of the GeoTourism Council of Uganda and the brand Uganda - Gifted by Nature. In 2010 Kelley was Chair of the Kampala Chapter of the international tour operator organization, the Skål Foundation. This year Kelley is Chair of the American Chamber of Commerce in Uganda.
Pearl of Africa Tours is a passionate supporter of conservation in Uganda, and is proud to be associated with the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (formerly Entebbe Zoo), Chimpanzee Sanctuary and Wildlife Trust (also known as Ngamba Island), the Rhino Fund, the Gorilla Organization and the Uganda Conservation Foundation.
