In 1996, Allison and Ross Paton perceived that there was a need for a Talent Consultancy in South Africa, which offered a proficient, professional and more technical service in Financial Recruitment. Paton Personnel was founded on the premise that a specialist company offering a narrow range of discerning services in the Financial Recruitment sector could best serve the needs of clients in a manner that a generalist agency was unable to do.
Further to this success, Paton then expanded its service offering to include both Paton Training and Paton Career Guidance, divisions expressly dedicated to improving and furthering the careers of its clients.
These three interlinked business units, Paton Personnel, Paton Training and Paton Career Guidance, comprise the Paton Group.
Since its inception, Paton Group has registered significant growth, mainly through the broadening of its blue chip client list, its top calibre candidate base, as well as its geographic reach. Currently all major centres in South Africa has are covered from the Paton Group offices in Hyde Park, Johannesburg and in Kwazulu Natal.
